A short level walk brings us to the foot of the Costera where we follow a slightly overgrown mozarabic trail steadily upwards for most of today’s climb. Once on the Pla we follow a rough track on the flanks of Mediodia before descending on a good mozarabic trail towards Isbert’s Dam which we reach for lunch. A gently undulating return brings us through the campo and back to Tormos. |

10 am. Fuente Partagat picnic area, Benifato. On Guadalest-Alcoy road (CV70), past Benimantell, look out for left turn to Benifato. Take 2nd right to Fuente Partagat. Short car shuttle. No barranco descent.

A classic tour of the Mediodia partly on yellow/white routes. Partly overgrown, but good paths early on. Ascents are not steep but are long. Fantastic scenery on whole route. |

10 am. Alcala de la Jovada. From CV715 (Orba-Pego road) turn onto CV712 signed to Val d’Ebo. Go past Val d’Ebo towards Alcala de la Jovada. After about 8kms and before reaching the village, park at the picnic site when you see the nevera sign.. A walk on good tracks and paths with many points of interest, taken at a easy pace. |

Across country, then ascent to Tossal del Morro, then downhill to ruined finca. Afterwards fairly steep ascent to the top, taken in easy stages. Lunch on top of Sol de tesor at second ruined finca depending on the weather. Near the end of the walk there is an easy traverse but not if wet. |
