Meet for coffee at Zafira Bar, Levante Beach at 10 am. 10.30 walk to La Fustera beach.  Optional swim.  Lunch at 2.30 in nice restaurant with live music from the very talented Spanish young duo that delighted the group last year with popular opera.  This was a very successful event last June.

Directions:

Coming from the N332, north or south, head towards the Ifach (rock), go down the dual carriageway, passing the dolphin and port roundabouts.  After the Ifach Hotel turn right at the next roundabout. (Ni Hou Chinese Restaurant on the right) and park.  If coming from Moraira on the coast road, turn left at the second roundabout and park.  Walk to promenade, Zafira Bar is on the left hand corner.

Details:

We will meet for a coffee before arranging any car sharing preferences then drive the 70 km on first class roads to Xátiva. After parking in the underground car park, we will regroup for refreshments before following an historical trail around the old quarter of the city. We will then enjoy an 11 euro  "menu del dia" lunch at a traditional Spanish restaurant (www.laforca.es).   After lunch we will drive up to the castle and park up. Entrance is 1.2E and it takes about 2 hours to see all of the sights (There are a few climbs to work off lunch!) If we get too hot we can check out the Castle bar for a cooler. I estimate we will be on our way back by about 5,30pm and back by 7 o'clock. See pictures for a preview of the trip

Enjoy an early morning walk before it gets too hot.  Meet at 8 am .  The path is paved for half the way, then rough track up to the cave.

Splendid views over the La Vall de Jesus Pobre on the way up.  Bring a picnic breakfast to enjoy with spectacular view of Denia from the summit

German 9 pin bowling – loosely resembles 10 pin bowling.  3 lanes booked for 8-12 players per lane.  Individual and team games – no skill required!

‘Mein Host’, Hans will be on hand to explain all (in English) and gives hints on technique or lessons if needed!  Cost €5 per person.  Pay on arrival.
