ROAD TO MOROCCO

(Cultural trip by coach)

7th - 13th November 2010

Bob Fisher is intending to organise a coach trip to Morocco in November 2010.

There will be local pick up points arranged as necessary.

This will not be limited to club members only and details are as follows:

Day 1 Travel from local pickup points to Costa del Sol.

Stops on way. Arrival at hotel, dinner and accommodation in 3 star hotel.

Day 2 From Costa del Sol to Algeciras –Rabat –Casablanca

Breakfast and transfer from Costa del Sol to Algeciras. Boarding on the ferry to Ceuta or Tangier. Continuing towards Rabat. Tour of Rabat with an official guide included. In the afternoon continue to Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation in 4 star hotel.

Day 3 Breakfast and an extensive tour of Casablanca.

There is the possibility of an optional visit to see the mosque Hassan 11, without doubt the most spectacular monument in Morocco and the most modern and important mosque in the world, after Mecca. Continue on to Marrakesh, arriving at the hotel with free time. Dinner and accommodation at a 4 star hotel.

Day 4 Marrakesh – Beni-Mellal and Fez.

Breakfast and official guided tour of  Marrakesh. Depart towards Beni-Mellal. Free time.  Continue onto Fez. Dinner and accommodation at 4 star hotel.

Day 5 Fez

Breakfast and extensive tour of Fez with official guide included. Beginning at the Jewish and Christian quarter. Stop in front of the Real Palace, opposite the Seven Gates and then the Medina, declared a humanitarian heritage by the UNESCO.

Dinner and accommodation at a 4 star hotel. Optional dinner and show.

Day 6 Fez-Algeciras

Breakfast and leave for Algeciras. Crossing by ferry, continuing to Costa del Sol, Torremolinos. Dinner and accommodation in 3 star hotel.

Day 7 Costa del Sol –Local drop off points.

Breakfast and depart. Stops on route.

Cost: 30-40 passengers = €530 per person (single supplement €120)

            41-55 passengers = €490 per person (single supplement €120)
