The CBMW is a group of people who get together twice a week to enjoy walking in the mountains of the Costa Blanca region of Spain. Walkers who act as leaders are not formally trained or registered and take no responsibility for their companions - You walk at your own risk. Whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy, the time stated for each walk will always depend on the fitness and ability of the walkers and also the conditions on the day of the walk.
Anyone is welcome to come along.
We are not a registered/affiliated club and therefore have no membership, subscriptions or rules. We do however askeveryone who walks with us to make an annual voluntary contribution towards the cost of our websites. Thisyear'scontribution is 3 Euros per person. A key ring with our logo will be given to those that contribute by way of both a receipt and a thank you. These can be attached to your rucksack should you wish. We do however a short list of Conventions which act as guidelines and hopefully are an aid to walkers and leaders alike. Everyone is required to read these Conventions as a condition for walking with us and for downloading each season's programme. CBMW Peak District Chapter -for those returning to cooler climes for the summer if you would like to offer the chance to get together in the Peak District please send your walk suggestions to the webmaster with full details and these will be advertised on the website. Three new walks added.
This tab will lead you to a link that provides free written route descriptions, maps and gps tracks for more than 200 walks across Spain. It is growing all the time as our members contribute.
